How would you describe your definition of faith?

A Story

Lord, increase our faith!  The disciples implored Jesus after seeing him accomplish miracles and teach about faith.  In Matthew 17:19-20 you see Jesus responding by saying “If you have the faith of a mustard seed…..” Over the next days of their life, they saw things, miracles and tragedy and the outflowing of the Holy Spirit…which increased their faith. They remembered the words of Jesus and then taught them to others. Their faith was increased as they acted by faith in his words and then passed them on.

 Consequently, faith comes from hearing the message, and the message is heard through the word about Christ.
