A. MAKING A COMMITMENT TO FOLLOW JESUS

Recently, a young high school student came into our class and announced that she had prayed to receive Jesus into her life. She shared how wonderful it was and that she knew something had happened. However, she also shared that doubts were bugging her, and she wanted to know what to do.

We shared with her I John 5:11-13:

“And this is the testimony: God has given us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. He who has the Son has life; he who does not have the son of God does not have eternal life.” The verse goes on: “I write these things to you who believe in the name of the Son of God so that you may know that you have eternal life.” (v.13).
