TRAINING PLAN FOR BECOMING A CERTIFIED COACH

(It is about the next step)

Requirements

1. Attend all 10 one and a half hour training sessions
2. Demonstrate the grasp of where all the resources of CTB are located
3. Demonstrate the ability to assess where someone is in their spiritual journey by using the assessment
4. Based the assessment have three observable session of coaching with a person taking the next step
5. Demonstrate the ability to lead a Bible Project video session
6. Have used one of the discipleship tools with group of individuals…The 2:7 Series or similar.
7. Demonstrate understanding of how to use the UNDER THE ICEBERG TOOLS

Session Descriptions

SESSION 1 – OVERVIEW – A big picture look at the ABOUT sections and the WHY of the website (be able to explain)

Homework (in one week)

  1. Complete a Quiet Time on 7 of the 14 areas of the COMMITMENT stage (INFANT)
  2. Watch The Father’s Love Letter video.
  3. Review resources on that page.
  4. Complete the Infant Assessment and send it to the training Coach’s email.

SESSION 2 – INFANT STAGE (COMMITMENT) – Discuss what was learned and any questions in the About section and share about anyone you might have given the assessment to and what you did to follow up. Look into the next stage (CHILD).

Homework (in one week)

  1. Complete a Quiet Time on 7 of the 17 areas of the CONVICTION stage (CHILD)
  2. Watch one video and answer related questions.
  3. Review all resources on that page.
  4. Complete the Child Assessment and send to the training Coach’s email.
  5. Identify someone to start working with in this stage.

SESSION 3 – CHILD STAGE (CONVICTION) – Discuss what was learned, any questions and share about anyone you might have given the assessment to and what you did to follow up. Look into the next stage. (YOUNG ADULT)

  1. Complete a Quiet Time on 7 of the 12 areas of the CHARACTER stage (YOUNG ADULT)
  2. Watch one video and answer related questions.
  3. Review all resources on that page.
  4. Complete the Young Adult Assessment and send it to the training Coach’s email.
  5. Identify someone to work with in this stage.

SESSION 4 – YOUNG ADULT STAGE (CHARACTER) – Discuss what was learned, any questions, and share about anyone you might have given the assessment to and what you did to follow up. Look into the next stage. (PARENT)

  4. Complete the Parent Assessment and send to the training Coach’s email.

SESSION 5 – PARENT STAGE (COMPETENCE) – Discuss what was learned and questions about the items. Share about anyone you might have given the assessment to and what you did to follow up. Look into the next stage (GRANDPARENT).

  2. Watch one video and answer related questions.

  4. Complete the Grand Parent Assessment and send it to the training Coach’s email.
  5. Identify someone to work with in this stage.

SESSION 6 – GRANDPARENT STAGE (MULTIPLICATION) – Discuss what was learned and ask questions about the items. Share about anyone you might have given the assessment to and what you did to follow up. Look into the next stage (SPIRITUAL LEADER).

SESSION 8 – EMOTIONAL HEALTH STAGE (MATURITY) – Discuss what was learned and questions about the Share about anyone you might have given the assessment to and what you did to follow up. Look into the next stage. (SPIRITUALLY DEAD/LOST)

  1. Complete a Quiet Time on 7 of the 15 areas of the SPIRITUALLY DEAD/LOST (SPIRITUALLY DEAD/LOST)

  4. Complete the Dead/Lost Assessment and send it to the training Coach’s email.

SESSION 9 – SPIRITUALLY DEAD/LOST STAGE (CONVERSION) – Discuss what was learned and questions about the items. Share about anyone you might have given the assessment to and what you did to follow up. Reflection on all the stages.

Homework (in one week)

  1. Review lesson learned in the last 10 weeks
  2. Map out a strategy of how you will use Coach the Bible
  3. Reflect on how these fit into GROWING AN INTENTIONAL DISCIPLE MAKING CULTURE
  4. Plan strategy and use in building a team of disciple makers who can use Coach the
  5. Complete Training Evaluation of training.

SESSION 10 – FINAL REVIEW AND SHARING OF ACTION STEPS, INSIGHTS, AND RECOMMENDATIONS (HAND OUT CERTIFICATIONS)
